In the Netherlands, Shell is the market-leader in petrol-stations with over 50 locations along the Dutch highway. Eight years ago in 2012, 2theloo signed the first contract with Shell and today we proudly announce that a new contract has been signed for another 5 years.
After a thorough market-consultation, Shell decided that the cooperation with 2theloo fitted their strategy and would further support a number of crucial criteria; ranging from a high customer satisfaction rate, a strong contribution to the non-fuel retail as well as the roll-out of 2theloo 2.0 concept. An innovative new paid toilet-concept which matches and even surpasses the hygienic clean demands of the modern visitor.
As Hilmar van den Dool, General Manager Retail Benelux & France at Shell Netherlands explains: “2theloo is a great concept within Shell and has proven to deliver a consistently high quality operational process with excellent customer satisfaction ratings. We are convinced that 2theloo’s experience and vision fits extremely well with our strategy of further enhancing customer satisfaction on all of our locations.”
Tom Daniels, CEO of 2theloo, is extremely pleased with the extension of the contract and the vote of confidence in the new 2theloo; “we are thrilled with the continuation of our longstanding partnership with Shell. It underlines and inspires our efforts to stay the market leader in the paid public toilets market and to support Shell in offering clean and hygienic toilets to its clients. We have developed a new, highly innovative concept where we move away from a public toilet as a ‘need-to-go’ to a ‘want-to-go’. We also redefined and redesigned our own identity to signal this next step of our organisation.”
Currently 2theloo has a European wide presence with over 200 locations in 12 countries and we welcome over 46 million visitors yearly. Next to Shell, other organisations like the French.
