Finance | Payroll Administrator

Our anticipated growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Finance/Payroll Administrator at 2theloo, who is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution and reconciliation of payroll and the administration of the payroll and time & attendance system. Furthermore, this role provides supports to the Finance Manager in the duties if needed.

We are looking for a Finance/payroll administrator who will join the team in Amsterdam and who loves working with data and truly understand how to ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing employees’ payroll,
  • Collecting accurate payroll-related data,
  • Providing salary sheet and payroll reports and submitting them to the relevant stakeholders,
  • Maintaining, managing and updating all data associated with payroll,
  • Wage, salary, and overtime calculation,
  • Calculating payable hours, commissions, tax withholdings, and deductions,
  • Preparing and issuing earnings statements,
  • Clarifying payroll-related queries and addressing payroll-associated issues, if any,
  • Managing the Time & Attendance system,
  • Coordinating with the People & Culture department to ensure correct employee data,
  • Providing administrative assistance to the finance department,
  • Supports Finance Managers in the countries as appropriate.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven work experience as a payroll administrator or similar role,
  • Advanced knowledge on financial software applications (Excel) and payroll software,
  • A hands-on mentality with eye for detail, able to communicate effectively to various parties and work independently in an international environment,
  • Communication skills in Dutch and English (French is preferred),
  • Energetic, ambitious and always looking for opportunities for improvement,
  • Team-player,
  • Analytical skills, accuracy and being organized and structure.
