Employee Spotlight: Lamia | Senior Shop Manager South of France
Meet Lamia: 14 years of making people feel welcome Some people join a company and stay for a while. Others become part of its story. Lamia definitely belongs to the second group. For the past 14 years, Lamia has been part of 2theloo. Today, as Senior Shop Manager, she leads our teams in the South of France, making sure our locations deliver what visitors come to us for: a clean, comfortable and welcoming break when they need it most.
14 years of growing together
A lot can happen in 14 years. Locations change, teams grow and no two working days are quite the same. But for Lamia, one thing has remained constant: the people around her.
When asked what keeps her motivated after all these years, her answer is very personal.
"What motivates me every day? My daughter. She is the reason I get up every morning and go to work. I'm also incredibly motivated by the people I work with. After all these years, they have become like family to me."
It says a lot about what a long career at 2theloo can become. It’s not only about the places we operate or the millions of visitors walking through our doors. It’s also about the people behind those locations, the teams who work together every day, support each other and, over time, become much more than just colleagues.
Great service? Keep it simple.
After 14 years in the business, Lamia knows exactly what excellent service looks like. And according to her, there’s no need to overcomplicate it.

Simple? Yes. Easy? Not always.
At busy locations, delivering that experience day after day takes attention, teamwork and a genuine eye for the people walking through the door. Because when nature calls, nobody wants extra surprises. Well, apart from discovering that a public restroom can actually be a pretty pleasant place.
For Lamia, making people feel welcome is simply part of the job — whether that means supporting her team or making sure every visitor leaves with a positive impression.
From Shop Manager to showstopper
And then there’s life beyond the loo.
During our recent French Shop Managers Days, we discovered that Lamia has another talent up her sleeve: karaoke. Give Lamia a microphone and, apparently, she knows exactly what to do with it.
Safe to say, she knows how to take the lead both at work and on stage.
After 14 years, Lamia’s story is one of dedication, growth, leadership and, above all, people. We’re incredibly proud to have her as part of 2theloo and grateful for everything she continues to bring to our teams in France.
