Introducing Niels Sijtsma, our New Business Manager at 2theloo. With a passion for commercialising groundbreaking products and services, Niels embarked on his journey with 2theloo last November. 

 Thank you for joining us today, Niels. Let's start by learning a bit more about you. How did your journey with 2theloo begin, and what attracted you to the role of New Business Manager?

 It's a pleasure to be here. I joined the 2theloo family on November 15, 2023. What drew me to the role of New Business Manager was the exciting opportunity to commercialize new products and services within 2theloo, particularly the innovative access solutions we're introducing to the market.


 That sounds fascinating. Can you tell us more about your responsibilities at 2theloo and the recent developments in the company?

 Certainly. As the New Business Manager, my main responsibility is to market our new products and services commercially. Recently, we've expanded our offerings to include access solutions, and we're now deploying these solutions beyond our regular markets. This includes major tourist attractions and places with high footfall.


 It seems like an exciting venture. What would you say is your biggest challenge in your current role?

 The primary challenge is establishing "turnstile as a service" as a well-known concept in the access service market. It's about making our innovative solutions a recognized and sought-after choice for various locations.

 Moving on to your achievements, what are you most proud of in your role at 2theloo?

 I take immense pride in the fact that our team has successfully secured some fantastic collaborations at iconic locations across Europe in a relatively short period. Unfortunately, I can't share all the details just yet, but there's more to come soon.


 We look forward to hearing more about those collaborations. Now, what makes 2theloo a great place to work, in your opinion?

 It's the people and the transparent communication at 2theloo that make it a fantastic workplace. The balance between having fun, achieving high performance, and personal responsibility is just right. It creates a positive and dynamic environment where everyone can thrive.

 Finally, on a lighter note, who is your favourite superhero, and why?

 My favourite superhero is my father. He taught me valuable life lessons, encouraging me to make the most out of life and be the best version of myself. His guidance has been my source of inspiration.

2theloo has carefully renovated the existing location near the food court and car park and aligned it with the refined brand identity and contemporary toilet experience for visitors to the mall. Visitors not only get access to a refurbished and contemporary toilet experience, but also receive a discount on a product from the refurbished retail assortment with the entrance voucher.

Some digital elements have also been added, including smart applications in the mirrors and new visuals that enhance the modern look of the revamped space. The introduction of new smart entrance gates, developed in collaboration with partner TSG, highlights the commitment to an advanced and effortless user experience.

2theloo, the leading provider of high-quality toilet breaks, is proud to announce the opening of the iconic public lavatory at La Madeleine in Paris. The prestigious facility has been restored to its original grandeur, offering visitors a unique and unforgettable restroom experience.

For over a century, these public toilets have been an integral part of Parisian culture, and they have now been listed as a historic building, since 2011 when they closed. With meticulous restoration efforts, the lavatory has been fitted out in art nouveau and early art deco style with the finest materials, including varnished mahogany woodwork, stained-glass windows, ornate ceramics, mosaics, brass taps, and floorto-ceiling tiles.

We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting project and to bring our expertise in high-quality restroom experiences to such an iconic location.
